Hadanat is a directory that helps parents in Kuwait find a suitable nursery and contact it directly. This page explains the information we handle when you use the site, and how we use it.

Site visitors

Browsing the site doesn't require an account, and we don't ask for your name, number or any personal data.
When you contact a nursery by WhatsApp or phone, the communication is directly between you and the nursery, and we don't see the content of your messages or calls.

Statistics

We count aggregate numbers for each nursery, such as how many times its card appeared, how many people opened its page, and how many taps its contact and map buttons got. These numbers are stored as daily totals and aren't linked to your identity.

We use your IP address in an encrypted, temporary form (for one hour) only to prevent manipulation of the numbers, and we don't store it with the statistics.
Your browser temporarily keeps a list of the cards shown to you during your visit so they aren't counted twice; it's cleared when you close the page.
We don't use cookies for marketing or to track you across other sites.

The “Nearest nursery to me” button

If you tap the button, your browser asks your permission to know your location; we only know your location after you agree.
We calculate the distance between you and the nurseries on your device only; your location isn't sent to us and isn't stored on our servers.
Your browser keeps your location temporarily for up to 30 minutes so we don't ask for it on every page; it's cleared when you close the page or cancel the sorting.

Third-party services

Google Maps: The map on the nursery page is served by Google, and Google may collect data according to its own privacy policy.
Google Fonts: The site's fonts are loaded from Google's servers.
WhatsApp, Instagram and calls: These buttons open external apps that are subject to their owners' policies.
Hosting: Our hosting provider may keep technical logs, such as IP address and visit time, for security and operational purposes.

Nursery data

The information shown about each nursery, such as its name, area, contact numbers, address and photos, is public information about the nursery itself, added at its request or from public sources. The nursery may request to edit or delete it at any time through the Remove / edit a nursery page.

Each nursery's statistics report is sent to it through a private link and isn't shown publicly.

Children

The site is aimed at parents, and we don't collect any information about children.
